Introduction:

Debate has always been an outlet for curiosity and a healthy source of competition. I enjoy watching students improve over the course of the term and seeing the different perspectives and creativity they bring to class. Drills and constructive feedback are important components of my teaching philosophy. Debate is such an adaptive activity that requires quick thinking so the best way to improve is through practice. I hope students learn how to think critically about important topics while learning how to articulate themselves confidently as speakers.

Education: Bachelor of Arts, Double major in Political Science and Psychology, UBC
