2025 Doxbridge
VDA teams delivered a strong performance at Doxbridge 2025, one of the most competitive tournaments on the global debate calendar, featuring top national and academy teams from around the world. This year, two of our teams advanced to the Silver Division, placing within the top 24 teams internationally. VDA 3 (Nathan Yan, Marek Cai, Kateryna Naumenko, Atharv Das) broke 2nd overall, and impressed with a quarterfinal win over Qatar — a team ranked among the top at last year’s WSDC. VDA 2 (Maggie Lu , Dennis Shen, Karissa Lin, Owen Kan) broke 6th, defeated Japan in quarters and VDA 3 in semis, finishing the tournament as finalists.
We’re especially grateful to our dedicated coaches — Debojyoti Biswas, Anoushka Johar, and Bobo Wong — for their exceptional case writing, overnight mentorship, and unwavering support throughout the weekend. This milestone marks the culmination of a year of hard work, resilience, and growth. It’s been deeply rewarding to see our students rise to the challenge, and we couldn’t be prouder of their performance and spirit.
