Vancouver Debate Academy (VDA) was established in Vancouver, Canada in 2016. In the span of nine years, VDA has helped over 10,000 students benefit from debate, and improved their English reading and writing skills. Our students have successfully gained admission to top-ranked schools across the world.

We firmly believe that every child can benefit from debate.

For many, the advantages of debate lie in enhancing self-confidence and expanding knowledge. For others, the significance of debate lies in the intense clash of ideas on the debate stage, expressing one’s own views. There are also many who study debate to aid their applications to prestigious schools.
