I enjoy debate because there is always something new you can learn-there is always a piece of knowledge, a smart strategy and a better team. Debate has challenged me to constantly improve myself and it is satisfactory to know that continuously working hard creates results.

I’m surprised how fun doing something you’re passionate about is. Yes, winning a round is exciting; however, it’s the entire process everything from the discussions with my partner, to the practices in class, to the stress before a tournament that makes debate important to me.
