Introduction:
I’ve been involved with debate for the past six years, and I love everything about it. I believe that forcing yourself to understand a topic well enough to successfully argue it from any side trains you to think more critically and intentionally about the world around you. I also love the process of taking apart arguments and trying to puzzle together how to most effectively attack a case. I hope that all of my students grow their own analytical skills and learn to more deeply engage with the justifications they hear in rounds and the world around them. Finally, debate has brought some of my favorite people into my life, and I hope my students are able to find the same inspiring community I have.
