[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As the Year of the Dragon rolls in, the VDA team is happy to reflect upon a successful previous year \u2013 but also anticipate a prosperous new year. But as we gear up for this new zodiac year, what makes the year of the dragon so incredibly special? Represented by the only mythical \u2013 and most powerful \u2013 creature of the 12-animal Chinese zodiac, the Year of the Dragon is considered special as the legendary magical beast is symbolic of authority, honor and dignity, particularly in China, where it has represented imperial power since ancient times. Importantly, people have long understood and admired the Dragon because of its power, vigour, and charm. Thus, those born in the Year of the Dragon are thought to possess these qualities as well; these people are usually born leaders who encourage and inspire others.<\/p>\n

As we enter yet another intense tournament season, the VDA team is excited to invoke the vigour and charm of the dragon in our upcoming training regimens for students. As we prepare to take on tournaments like Harvard & Stanford World Schools and Public Forum respectively, there will be no lack of obstacles in preparing to compete on the world stage.<\/p>\n

But to further exemplify the generosity and charm of the Year of the Dragon, We are also excited to announce our lucky Lunar New Year giveaway draw! Specifically, the VDA team will be awarding EIGHT lucky winners with amazing discounts on our debate classes. The prizes are as follows:<\/p>\n
