Hi, my name is Maggie, and I’m so excited to work with everyone! When I first started debate in high school, few people supported me in my debate journey until I started VDA. Through the support systems I found and helped build there, I gained the confidence and pride I had been missing, and I’m endlessly grateful for that experience. That’s why I hope to create the same kind of supportive environment for the students in my classes. With experience in the Canadian Debate Circuit and familiarity with various tryout processes, including for Team Canada, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and help each of you grow in your own debate journeys.
