2023 Middle School Tournament of Champion

Two weeks after winning the high school championship tournament, VDA once again brought their team to the championship base in Kentucky.

Last weekend, the VDA team made history!

VDA’s competitors Annie and Serena won the championship in the middle school division of the TOC tournament, becoming Canada’s first middle school division TOC champions!

This is a remarkable achievement and the best proof of this team’s effort and unwavering belief. In this competition, VDA’s competitors demonstrated top-notch debating skills and excellent speech abilities. They competed with outstanding debaters from around the world, experienced intense battles and challenging confrontations, and ultimately emerged victorious, achieving a historic victory.
