2021 Pre-Season NATO Slam
The 2021 Pre-Season NATO Slam is a smaller tournament held to prepare debaters for the up and coming debate season in the fall. This tournament was the first PF tournament for many young debaters including many middle school and elementary school VDA teams.
Amongst the new comers, there were also many veterans of Public Forum debate. VDA team Wayne Liang and Neil Song competed against one of the top US varsity teams and was the only team that defeated them in the whole tournament.
We had Champions and Runners up in all three Divisions: High School Varsity, Middle School, and the 5-6th Grade Division. Congrats to all of the debaters who competed this weekend!
